Lisa's Story
Where do I start? Before meeting my current partner, soon to be my husband, I was in a relationship where I lost all my confidence, he never believed in me and made me feel worthless. My husband-to-be has given me the strength to move on and start believing in myself again, so when the opportunity came up to have a boudoir photo shoot, I thought, what the heck… I got nothing to lose, so I booked in.
Before the photo shoot, I felt very nervous and didn’t think I could go through with it, mainly because I was overthinking how bad I would look in the photos because of my lack of confidence about my body shape and age.
On arrival, I was greeted by Rhian and Darren. Straight away, I was made to feel totally comfortable; they offered me a drink, and I was introduced to Julie, the makeup artist, who was also friendly. Once I had my hair and makeup done, I felt incredible, I honestly felt like a million dollars.
Darren and Rhian are true professionals and work so well together. I was always made to feel the centre of attention and totally relaxed. Darren is a fantastic photographer, and within the first few minutes, I forgot I was wearing underwear and just enjoyed the photoshoot. Rhian is also amazing at her job. She talked me through choosing my outfits and ensured I was posed correctly, making me feel more comfortable as the photoshoot continued.
Once the photo shoot was over, I felt absolutely incredible. I never believed I would have ever taken part in anything like this. I felt on top of the world and had achieved something exciting, felt sexy and confident in myself, and wanted to do it again and again.
When I was shown the photos, I was flabbergasted by how sexy and beautiful I looked, I couldn’t believe how emotional I was feeling, I felt on top of the world.
The photos are displayed on my bedroom wall to remind me of how amazing I felt. This experience has truly made me appreciate the woman I am and helped me find confidence.
I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone who needs a boost of self-confidence. I promise you won’t regret it!
